This boat was donated to the club in 2006 by June and Michael Harrison from Lerryn Cornwall, who are friends of a club member. It is a very popular boat with the children and as well as sailing can be also be rowed.

Geoff is a Taz purchased in memory of Geoff Bartlett who was the Mayor of Gosport. The money came from his charitable fund raising and was named "Geoff" in his honour at a ceremony attend by his wife Mrs Rosemary Bartlett on 17th May 2005.

This is a GRP Mirror Weekender given to the sailing club in 2006 by the Patrons of the Park Hotel in Gosport in memory of Wally Tee.

This is another Pioner 8 rowing boat named by the children of the club and launched on 8th July 2004. It was purchased with the Community Cashback Awards from NatWest Bank.

 

Thames Image

Our Patrol boat, a Pioner 12 donated to us by the Royal Thames Yacht Club the oldest sailing club in the United Kingdom. It was named on 8th July 2004, taking the place of Jake's Image a thirty year old Mirror Dinghy. We have to use a rowing boat as Stoke Lake is a site of special scientific interest (SSSI) which does not allow the use of any petrol or diesel engines.

One of the Original Mirrors the club inherited when it reopened in 2001, over the winter of 2001 it was restored by the Bosun and is still in use in 2006 for sailing and rowing.

 

 

Seagull

This Mirror was donated by a Gosport Resident and was used for a while by our older members at Stokes Bay Sailing Club. It is seen here returning from our annual row out passing under Jackie Spencer bridge on 24th September 2005. Seagull is rigged to either be sailed or rowed.
